Gear List for Young Marines- Encampment

Attire-

Regular Drills and Training

For Young Marines

- Full BDU uniform

* Cover, Boots, Boot Blouses, Blouse, Trousers, Dog Tags, Red Tshirt,khaki belts,ribbons

         -  Always be Inspection Ready -

* Journals, (up to date)

* guidebooks

* notepad for notes and pens

* Canteens or waterbottle

For Recruits

 * Jeans (No holes ) / Khaki Shorts in summer

* Tennis Shoes ( Go Fasters)

* Belts with shirts tucked in

* T-shirts ( Plain white or grey )

* Grey unit t-shirt if in stock and issued 

- Can wear sweatshirt over T-shirt

* No clothing should have any graphics, lettering, or designs. Wear clothing that is plain and nuetral as possible.

-Until you earn your uniform- we need to look as uniformed as possible.

 Appearance-

*Hair- Groomed (Boys)

      -   Pulled back in a bun if touching shoulders.( we will discuss this more in detail at next meeting) (Girls)

*Face- If of age, clean shaven

*Makeup- If worn, not excessive

No Jewelry of any kind-

    except for watches and what is stated in your basic guide book.

Gear -

*Basic Guidebooks if issued- If not will issue at drill

* Journals-Completed and updated

* Writing utensils (preferably pens)
